2009 was a very challenging year. Disappointingly, also, forecasters are predicting that 2010 might be equally as challenging, or that it might be even more challenging. Start the year right. Set some goals for yourself that are simple but achievable. Make this the year when you do the things that are really important, like paying more attention to your physical and emotional health and to meeting your family’s needs. Make it your duty to review your goals very regularly during the year in order to ensure that you are staying on track. If, for some reason, things seem not to be going according to your plans; don’t make impulsive decisions, which could be life-altering, and which could have a negative influence, especially on your children. Get a second opinion early- preferably from a trained and experienced counselor. Despite whatever challenges might be in store in 2010, do your part to make this the best year ever. Good luck to you!
